About the 7th edition: The Seventh Edition is a complete revision of the 2009 & 2010 Sixth Editions. All versions prior to the 2009 edition are horribly out of date - and should NOT be relied upon, whatsoever. The 7th edition has a significantly changed chapter on self defense, and an additional new chapter that goes into greater detail on self defense issues. However, significant material has been added to four other chapters, and all chapters underwent substantial editing and updating. The 7th edition is fifty (50) pages longer than the last printing of the Sixth edition! Only the 2010 printing of the Sixth Edition remains up-to-date with the online updates - although that version cannot be compared with expansion and updating in the newer Seventh Edition
