Peter Piglet finds the most beautiful pair of golden shoes. He immediately slips them on and learn to walk in them. Peter adores the shoes and he devastated when they disappear. The shoes aren't gone for good, though. One was adopted by a turtle who'd lost his shell, and the other by a mother bird who needed a home for her babies. Peter gets over the loss of his beautiful shoes when he realizes that being useful is more important than being beautiful. Full color.
